My sketchbook's binding is messed up so now I must fill it up so I can get a new sketchbook that doesn't have messed up binding.

coool! Do you use a mechanical pencil? I like the red combo with granite pencil.

The redness of those first two pictures were due to the red mechanical pencil lead somebody lent me ;D

The professionalism of your sketches always amazes me. Every now and then I indulge in manga-style drawings out of pure habit, but then I see what utter crap they are. Go you. <3

I meant to respond to this forever ago, but it turns out I'm TERRIBLE at responding to things. XD So now I proceed to make myself a nuisance:

OMG, so pretty. Why is it that every time I see Li he gets hotter? At the beginning he was just cute but now he's downright studly -- love the one towards the bottom. It's probably Mei's fault. XD Should I know the fellow in the monacle (?) who's smirking at Ryan, or is he not part of Directions of Destiny?

I love the Aerith up there, she looks so dignified and vaguely melancholy~ And I'm not sure if the second from the bottom is RL stuff or series stuff, but it looks VERY much in the style of Hikaru no Go, which I just adore because it's too gorgeous.

Anyway, yeah, I enjoy sketching Li Xin ;D. And the guy in the monocle isn't going to appear until the uh third unit. So don't worry.

And the chick in that one second-to-last picture is supposed to be a friend of mine who requested me to draw her, and the guy is just some generic boy I guess o_o. Didn't really intend it to look like Hikaru no Go but I agree, it is a beautiful manga *_*

Do you normally use a lot of guidelines when sketching your drawings, or do you just draw what you think looks right?

And actually, I hardly use any guideline :x. Most of the sketches you see are untampered by an eraser so 9_9() (which is why they're so sketchy XO)
